The UVEI certification program can now be applied as credit toward a Master of Education Degree from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire or from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire.  For their work at UVEI, upon enrolling in the master's program, UVEI graduates will be awarded 15 credits at Plymouth State University or 21 credits at New England College.

Plymouth State University

• PSU will charge a fee for accepting the 15 credits into a Master of Education self-designed program.  The fee for 15 credits is currently $300.
• At Plymouth State, candidates will need to take an additional three PSU core courses, two electives and complete a captone experience.   Some of these courses may be taken on line or at satellite locations.  The cost per course varies, depending upon the course and the location.
• All UVEI graduates from 2000 onward are eligible.  Alumni who graduated prior to NEASC accreditation in 2000 may petition for acceptance into the program.

• There is no fee for transferring the 21 credits from UVEI.
• To complete the master's degree at NEC, UVEI graduates will need to take two 4 credit seminars, two 1 credit courses, and one 2 credit practicum, for a total of 12 credits. Some of this course work will involve an action research project.
• Cost to the student will be the regular NEC tuition rate for the Master of Education program (currently $361 per credit).
• If a cohort of six or more UVEI alumni want to go through the program at the same time, NEC will offer the classes at UVEI in Lebanon and will charge a reduced fee ($300 this year).
• The program is available to all UVEI graduates.
